Nathan Shaw

Nathan is the Managing Director at NGS Roofing. He is the first point-of-call for all things roofing, and oversees client relationships, quoting, operations, and timetabling.

Starting his roofing career at age 15 in Christchurch, Nathan has over 23 years’ experience in the industry. After three years, he moved to Australia to pursue a roofing apprenticeship. In this time, Nathan specialised in Concrete tile roofing and roof restorations. In October 2010, Nathan moved back to his home town of Christchurch to assist with the earthquake recovery works. At was at this time Nathan started NGS Roofing and with crew of 7, got to work in the Red Zone.

He remained there until late 2015 when he moved to the sunny Bay of Plenty to help with the pending construction boom. In 2016, Nathan was approached by Rotorua Lakes Council to tender for a preferred supplier contract and was successful in his bid. Since then, NGS Roofing has undertaken many large public and private jobs and has grown from strength to strength.
